Ardabil old Bazzar
Ardebil Bazar, which is a memorial to the architecture of the Safavid era, is located in downtown Ardebil. This Bazzar is a collection of sara, bath and mosque and has a long history. So that in the 7th and 8th centuries AH was a great boom.
In the following centuries, a part of the big bazaar and palaces were considered as the endowments of Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardebili’s tomb and the proceeds and revenues were spent on the expenses of this tomb. The current construction of the Bazzar is one of the works of the Safavid era and Zandia, which is based on the early foundation of the Bazzar. The major part of the Ardabil market has been destroyed in urban change over the past half century and the linkage of some of its parts to the center of the market has been eliminated.
